From the Captain's Desk

On behalf of Outwater's Militia, thank you for stopping by and checking out our page! I want to first thank Kelly R. for creating this new format for the unit. The website is sleek and will give everyone a glimpse into the Unit. I also want to recognize past Unit Commander, Glenn Valis who originally designed our website. The content and information helped to put the unit on the map with both the reenacting and history community, as well as family descendants who came across our page. As we celebrate our 40th Anniversary, the new website is another tool to help make people more aware of the important role militia played during the American Revolution, but also have fun in the process. Make sure to keep checking back for blogs on multiple subjects as we continue to continue to move our impression forward and continue to learn from each other.
